More about Tammy:"I am happily married to my soulmate, Joe. We have been married since April 23 2004. I have a beautiful daughter, Jessi, and a wonderful grandson, Alexander. We are Christians & attend, and are members of Leave A Mark Church. Our Church moto is "No perfect people allowed". I love my family more than words can express. I waited a long time to find my wonderful, soulmate husband. I was 43 when we got married. Joe was my first and will be my last husband. You don't mess with perfection!!! I knew he was my soulmate the first time we met in person. We orginally met on the online dating app. Date.com. We spoke online for about 2 weeks, started calling each other for a couple more, and our first face to face meeting was December, 27, 2003, then again December, 31. At the time he lived in Cleveland, OH, and I lived in Delaware, OH. One evening a week after he got off work he would drive from Cleveland to Delaware just to see me a couple hours, and then drive back to Cleveland that night. He came here most weekends, and one weekend my daughter and I went up to Cleveland to be with him. On January 17, 2004 he was in Delaware visiting me and he proposed to me. Of course I said yes. When you wait until you are 43 before getting married your first time, you just know when it's right!!! We were married on April 23, 2004, just 4 months after we first met!!! ate!!! My daughter loved him so much, that within a few months, she was calling him Dad. She was 18 when we married. Joe does not think of her as a step daughter, he calls her his daughter or kid. We have built a wonderful, loving family together, including our son-in-law Ed, and our grandson Alexander who will be turning 15, August 28th. He is such an amaxing, intelligent, loving, kind young man. He is a Sophomore in High School this year. He is on the Varsity football team, as well as the Jr. Varsity football team. He plays a couple different positions on Offense, including Center. He also plays on defense in a couple different positions. This is on Varsity as well as Jr. Varsity. He is also in marching band, playing the tuba. He plays tuba in concert band, and trombone in Jazz band. He is a 2nd year ROTC member. He is also on the wrestling team, and does discus and shot put in track. He gets good grades as well. I am kept busy with all his school activities, and very rarely ever miss any event. My life is very happy, and fulfilled. Between my family, friends, and my Church, I am content, and greatly blessed!!! I would love to reconnect with some of my SHS 1978 classmates. LouAnn Kinser, Twila Jones, Judy Kauffman, just to name a few. I'm pretty sure that their last names are different now, as they are most probably married. I am on Facebook under the name Tammy Lavender Burtick, and would love for the friends that I lost touch with, or any other classmates that remember me to contact me on Facebook.
I also enjoy reading, swimming, movies, going to Kings Island, bonfires and camping.
